2016 Syrah

Gold – San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

Deep, magenta in color, this Syrah exudes aromas of ripe black plums, pomegranate, marionberry, and toasty oak spice.  On the palate the wine is rich with ripe blackberry, boysenberry, and currants, that taper off with hints of pepper and allspice.  Serve with a variety of dishes, from roasted vegetables, to blue cheese burgers and barbecue.
