Play reading: CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF

May 3 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Directed by Domenique Lozano

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof  delves into the tensions within a wealthy Southern family as they gather to celebrate Big Daddy’s birthday, despite his failing health. At the center of the drama, Brick, a former athlete numbing himself with alcohol, and his determined wife Maggie navigate a crumbling marriage while long-buried secrets threaten to unravel the family’s facade.

Cat is a searing exploration of desire, lies, and the intense dynamics of family—topics that remain as powerful and relevant today as when the play premiered. Tennessee Williams crafts a world that’s both raw and poetic, pushing the limits of human vulnerability and capturing audiences with its fierce authenticity.

All 1 pm readings are indoors at Grizzly Peak Winery. April 30, May 1-4. $40 ($45 at the door.)

Need access seating? Arrive at the winery by 12:10, and let the reception staff know when you check in. Note that the first row may be reserved as a donor benefit. Large print programs are available at each performance upon request. Grizzly Peak Winery is a mobility accessible venue.
